SDCH’s Child Care Center has had 100% deficiency-free surveys for five years in a row. We offer this on-site child care center for the benefit of our employees and also the community. We are committed to the care, health, safety and education of young children in a nurturing atmosphere. Our program focuses on the main goals of school readiness which are to instill a love of learning and to promote social skills; assist children in developing to their fullest intellectual, physical, social and emotional potentials through free play, structured activities, and on-going interaction with the staff; create flexibility in meeting each child’s needs; and, to build self-esteem, self-confidence and self-reliance in the children we serve.
