SDCH installs a telemetry system, which is a unique practice that is not seen among other competitors in the long-term care industry. The system enables us to more closely monitor the acute needs of patients, as well as detect problems and implement interventions prior to them becoming too severe. We met the required additional high-level training on topics such cardiac rhythms, interventions for concerning rhythms, and became a certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) facility.
