Western Peaks Specialty Hospital Services

Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospitals provide specialized complex care for an extended period of time (26 day average). The LTAC unit at Western Peaks Specialty Hospital in Bountiful, Utah, provides patients with the same high level of care received in an acute care hospital. Patients at Western Peaks benefit from a team of experienced critical care physicians, pulmonologists, nurse practitioners, 24/7 critical-care trained registered nurses and respiratory therapists, a certified wound careteam, and complete in-house therapy team.

I have been a patient at Western Peaks LTAC for about one month. When I came here I was very disoriented and frightened. It was very difficult for me to communicate. They were very patient with me. I am very grateful for all the things they did for me. They took such good care of me. I feel that I have made some really good friends. Because of their patience, my recovery has been enhanced. I recovered better and faster than anyone expected. I am going home sooner than expected. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing LTAC Hospital care.
