Why Choose Western Peaks LTAC?

Western Peaks Specialty Hospital is a unique post-acute care facility with the ability to treat patients from infancy through adulthood.  Our goal is to maximize the function and independence of every individual in a comfortable setting that is highly conducive to healing. Our exceptional campus has multiple levels of care and rehab to fit the needs of each individual patient as they progress through the stages of healing.

  • SDCH was a pioneer in creating the LTAC hospital model of care in Utah as the first LTAC (long term acute care) provider in the state
  • The only LTAC in Utah with access to multiple levels of care. This advantage allows our patients to continue their recovery with the staff and therapists they are familiar with until they are ready to safely discharge to home
  • Critical care physicians conduct daily rounds
  • Team approach to healing
  • 33 Private rooms newly remodeled to function specifically as an LTAC

What Is An LTAC Hospital?

Our LTAC unit provides patients with the same high level of care received in an acute care hospital.
